New York Telephone Co. early 1C from Staten Island. It has the early type 1C totalizer with the jumper plug rather than a mode switch. The phone is set up for 10 cent dial tone first. It is equipped with a gray Bell System handset without a grommet and a plastic tongue. It also has the type face plate that was used on later 1A and early 1C payphones that has the teardrop shaped coin release lever and no sign in the upper left corner. The upper housing lock is a 29A13 and vault lock is a type 30A.
